The establishment of a biobank called the Burn Biobank Residual Tissue, aims to collect specific residual material from patients in the burn unit for pre-clinical research to enhance burn wound treatment. Our Biobank will handle the collection process, store material for an extended period and establish a distribution system, facilitating accessibility for researchers. Our goal is to gather and store various types of residual tissue from patients from the Red Cross Hospital to advance research in improving burn care.
